![]() ![]() If in Laughlin, walk the river at least once. Very enjoyable walk, easy to navigate with wheelchairs and mobility scooters. There are ducks, otters, pelicans, skunks that seem to have no fear of people, and even a few raccoons who like to mooch some treats from the walkers over there by Bubba's. The evening walks can be quite brisk as the air coming off the river is cooler than the surrounding air by the hotels so bring a sweatshirt or coat if easily chilled.Īt night, the water levels drop and you get to see a bunch of wildlife and fish swimming in the river. During the winter months, the daytime walk is very mild and not as crowded as it is in the summer. You can get to Harrah's by a short walk up a hill and down into a cove.ĭuring the summer, it can be extremely hot along the walk in the daytime but cooler at night. It's about a 1.25 mile or so walk that starts from Don Laughlin's Riverside Hotel and goes all the way to the former River Palms Hotel. Every time we go to Laughlin, we take a few strolls along the riverwalk.
